Herb & Hue

Herb & Hue is an extra-fine Merino yarn dyed entirely with plants for bespoke knitwear projects. Drawing on an ancient plant-dyeing process revived through modern technology, the content I created in this project reflects the deep, rich hues of the yarn’s natural palette.

Brand IDENTITY

Logo, label, and visual identity for the new yarn line, featuring plant-inspired illustrations, custom typography, and a natural color palette aligned with the brand brief.

Concept development

I used pressed plants in my design process and a timeless, classic typography to touch on the ancient craft of plant-based dyeing.

Logo design

The final design combines a simplified plant motif that flows organically over an enlarged ‘&’ symbol to draw the eye and connect the text to the plant.

Product label

Framed by plant illustrations, this design reinforces the brand slogan 'plant-dyed perfection' and helps the yarn stand out on the shelf. View PDF print file.
